Def Jam topper Tunji Balogun is off and running just months into his tenure as he closes hot signing Muni Long (whose “Hrs and Hrs” is a streaming behemoth) on the heels of a pact with Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free’s pgLang imprint, among other developments. It all points to an exciting new chapter for the storied label, though this HITS Contents shout-out is most assuredly not Tunji’s Jam.
