FINNEAS (the latest player in Jason Owen’s Sandbox) has set his sights on Music City and made his first move by teaming with Kacey Musgraves for Apple Music Nashville Sessions.

Customarily three songs, the Session spotlights live acoustic performances of “Starfucker” and “Same Old Story,” from FINNEAS’ sophomore album, For Cryin’ Out Loud!, and features Musgraves (MCA Nashville/Interscope) performing “Giver / Taker,” from her Grammy-nominated album Deeper Well.

For its part, HITS won’t be welcome in Nashville anytime soon after that unpleasantness at the Drake Inn.
