The rhythm format continues to deliver core artists and massive records, proving once again why it remains a dominant force. We rolled through the first three months with Kendrick Lamar leading the charge, and now we have incredible new music from SZA, Drake, The Weeknd and Tommy Richman setting the pace. With spring upon us soon, it’s looking like the momentum will only continue as more hit records emerge and make an impact.

Lori G and RCA have skillfully maneuvered through all of Kendrick’s chart traffic to land SZA’s “30 for 30” (TDE) at the #1 spot this week. Featuring none other than Kendrick, the track enjoyed a massive 1,150-spin increase, surging from #4 to #1. Meanwhile, SZA isn’t slowing down—her other record, “BMF,” officially cracks the Top 10 this week.

Over at Capitol Interscope, Dixie Tipton continues to roll out the hits. While Kendrick still has three records in the Top 5, he also has “peekaboo” f/Az Chike (pgLang) just entering the chart. They are officially going for the record in the next few weeks, and there’s a video coming soon. And if that’s not enough, Kendrick currently occupies nearly half of the Top 10 on Spotify’s Global chart with tracks “luther,” “Not Like Us,” “All the Stars” w/SZA and “tv off” w/Lefty Gunplay. The same four tracks also make up the Top 4 of Spotify’s U.S. chart. Meanwhile, the team has Doechii’s “DENIAL IS A RIVER” (TDE/Capitol) gaining 320 spins as it climbs to #12 this week. They’re also making moves with Summer Walker’s “Heart of a Woman,” which closes the week at #33 after a 280-spin jump.

Over at REPUBLIC Collective, Davey Dee and the team see GELO’s “Tweaker” (Def Jam) hold at #6 with a solid 570-spin gain. The Weeknd’s “Cry for Me” (XO) gets a 640-spin boost, just missing the Top 10. They also score a big debut with Drake’s “GIMME A HUG” (OVO/Santa Anna/Republic), from his collab album with PARTYNEXTDOOR$ome $exy $ongs 4 U. The track is up 475 spins, and they’re officially impacting it this week.

At Epic, Sack and Dontay continue to grind out Tyla’s “PUSH 2 START” (FAX). She climbs two more spots to #8 this week and gains another massive triple digit increase of 525 spins. They also debut GIVĒON’s “TWENTIES” (Not So Fast) at #35.

B Dot Scales and Warner continue to make strides with Teddy Swims’ “Are You Even Real” f/GIVĒON, which enters the Top 20 with a 275-spin boost.

Chris Moradi and the Broke/Hallwood/Go Crazy crew see Sturdyyoungin’s “TRIPPIN” shoot to the Top 25. The track is up over 400 spins and looks to crack the Top 20 this coming week.

James White and team Columbia see Tyler, the Creator’s “Like Him” f/Lola Young slide four spots to #27 this week. He recently wrapped sold out six shows at L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena, which is the longest hip-hop residency at the venue.

Angelo Scrobe and the PULSE/Concord team are working a new Tommy Richman single called “ACTIN UP,” which just misses a debut and lands at #46. Look for this to secure a spin on the chart this coming week.
