TOUR TIDBITS: SEISIÚN, YEAH YEAH YEAHS, BEYONCÉ

March 17, 2025

Yeah Yeah Yeahs

IRISH EYES ARE SMILING: Green beer and cabbage for everyone! The Dropkick Murphys and The Pogues have been tapped to headline the new Irish music and cultural gathering Seisiún, which will be held 9/6-7 at The Stage at Suffolk Downs in—where else?—Boston.

The event is promoted by The Bowery Presents in partnership with Liam Lynch and Joe Killian, co-founders of the defunct Fleadh festival.

This will be the first U.S. Pogues show in almost 20 years and the first since the death of frontman Shane MacGowan, who died in 2023. The Hold Steady, Waterboy and Cardinals are also on the bill. Tickets go on sale 3/21.

THEY DON'T LOVE YOU LIKE WE LOVE YOU: Yeah Yeah Yeahs (CAA) are reimagining their catalog for strings and piano as part of the summer Hidden in Pieces Tour, which also doubles as a celebration of the New York indie trio's 25th anniversary.

The outing kicks off 6/16 in Manchester, England, at the O2 Apollo and will play multiples in London, Mexico City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Nashville, Chicago and New York.

VEGAS BABY: Beyoncé (CAA) has added a 7/25 stop in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium to her upcoming Cowboy Carter Tour, which is produced and directed by Parkwood Entertainment. It's the ninth show added to the original 22, with Live Nation reporting that tickets are 94% sold overall.

Elsewhere in Sin City, Earth, Wind & Fire (CAA) will return to the Venetian Theatre at the Venetian Resort for a nine-show limited engagement 10/10-25.

ROUND 'EM UP: Glass Animals (CAA) have extended their Live Nation-promoted Tour of Earth with 16 dates across North America this summer. The second leg kicks off 6/7 in Saratoga Springs, New York. Sofia Isella and Orla Gartland will join the band on select dates.

Def Leppard will tour North America this summer in tandem with Bret Michaels, The Struts and Extreme (Live Nation), beginning 6/23 in Rogers, Arkansas. Meanwhile, Collective Soul and LIVE will co-headline the Summer Unity Tour, which runs from 7/8 in Auburn, Washington, through 8/29 in Grantville, Pennsylvania. Our Lady Peace and Greylin James Rue will open.
