Warner Chappell Music has signed Colombian sensation Ryan Castro to a worldwide administration agreement. Since debuting on worldwide charts in 2021, Castro has solidified his position as a global hitmaker with hits like "QUEMA" alongside Peso Pluma and SOG, which is RIAA-certified 17x platinum (Latin), and "Una Noche en Medellín," a remix with Cris MJ for KAROL G's MSB Bichota Season.
Castro's global smash “EL RITMO QUE NOS UNE” with SOG and the Colombia national soccer team (Selección Colombia) set the record as the most-streamed song in a single day in Colombia on Spotify, amassing 1.3m streams.
The Medellín native has also collaborated with Feid, Jhayco, Blessd and many more Latin stars. Castro also co-headlined a sold-out U.S. tour with Blessd last year.
You've come this far, it's time for some juicy quotes.
Lázaro Hernández, SVP, A&R, U.S. Latin & Latin America, WCM shared: “Ryan is an exceptionally multidimensional songwriter and artist. He effortlessly navigates between a range of genres—from reggaeton and trap to merengue and dancehall —showcasing just how dedicated and disciplined he is with his craft. We are thrilled to welcome him and officially launch this partnership.”
Gustavo Menéndez, president, U.S. Latin and Latin America, WCM, added: “Ryan is a force to be reckoned with, full of energy and charisma.
