WME's Shakira continues to set records with stadium sellouts in Mexico on her Live Nation-produced Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour. After taking this pic with the Sony Music U.S. Latin, Latin Iberia and Mexico teams at one of her Mexico City shows, the Colombian superstar added four more dates, totaling an unprecedented 11 performances at the capital's Estadio GNP Seguros—the most of any artist on a single tour.
There's plenty more celebrating and records to be shattered for Shakira. For now, plaques honoring 28 gold and platinum certifications, including double-platinum and gold for Las Mujeres in Mexico, will suffice.
Shak's Latin American tour will hit the Dominican Republic, Chile and Colombia in April before the North American stint gets started 5/13 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The artist has also announced second shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey (5/16) and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami (6/7). Tickets for these new dates go on sale 4/7.
