SHAKIRA SETS RECORDS IN MEXICO, ADDS FOUR STADIUM DATES

After setting a record of seven consecutive sellouts at Mexico City's Estadio GNP Seguros, WME's Shakira has added four more stadium dates to her Live Nation-produced Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.

Following visits to Monterrey and Guadalajara, and three more CDMX shows this week, Shakira will return for dates in Mexico City, Querétaro, Guadalajara and Puebla in August and September.

The Sony Latin star also became the first Colombian artist to perform in five different stadiums across Mexico.

The Mexico City run alone moved 600k+ tickets and its economic impact on the region has been highlighted by officials, with the Ministry of Tourism noting a significant boost in hotel occupancy.
