ANITTA GETS VULNERABLE ON NETFLIX DOC, DROPS "LARISSA"

Brazil's Anitta has released a revealing new pop cut, "Larissa," to go along with the recent Netflix documentary Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta. The Republic/UMLE global star debuted the song on the Bloco da Anitta Carnival street party in Rio de Janeiro, performing to an exuberant crowd estimated at 1.1m people.

The track first appeared in the final scenes of the intimate documentary, which premiered on 3/6 and provides an inside look at Anitta's journey of self-discovery, coming from the suburbs of Rio to living the life of a global pop star.

Anitta also recently dominated Brazil's Spotify chart with "São Paulo" alongside The Weeknd and her Brazilian funk collab "Sei Que Tu Me Odeia" f/MC Danny & HITMAKER. Both tracks peaked at #2 in the region.
