NOISEMAKERS: DISTAFF DYNAMOS
Laura Ohls
Senior Editor, Rock & Alternative, Spotify
Ohls’ career has been packed with surreal moments—hosting teenage Billie Eilish and FINNEAS at Spotify HQ, helping throw a rosé party for Rick Ross, interviewing Sharon Van Etten, having high tea with Kacey Musgraves and getting stuck in an elevator with Shania Twain. Last year she helped launch MARROW, Spotify’s Global Rock Flagship playlist, now a catalyst for discovery, and is rolling out the Women of Metal campaign while tracking the rise of hardcore, shoegaze and nu-metal. At 10, she built a Backstreet Boys fan site after buying HTML for Dummies. We could use that now.
Shayna Ehrlich
Tour Marketing Executive, CAA
Ehrlich has watched careers skyrocket, having gone from working with Sabrina Carpenter back when she was playing small clubs like Webster Hall and the Wiltern to seeing her sell out five nights at Madison Square Garden and six at Crypto.com Arena. This year she’s excited to roll out North American spring and summer tours for Rema, beabadoobee, Fontaines D.C., keshi, Simple Plan and more. And when she’s not crafting tour marketing strategies, she’s busy with her baking side hustle, @chefshay_. Meanwhile, we’re dusting crumbs off our laptops.
Lauren Camp
Head of Strategic Partnerships, Creed Media
After being told Brent Faiyaz was “too small” for PR, Camp quit her agency job and made him her first client just before Sonder Son dropped. Since then she’s worked with 500+ artists, including WondaGurl, Pink Sweat$, Chris Lake and Tkay Maidza. Having recently joined Creed Media, she’s now leading its U.S. expansion—driving high-impact partnerships, scaling its presence in North America and shaping the future of digital marketing. When she’s not closing deals, she’s in the boxing ring—unlike us, who get winded just fighting for Wi-Fi.
Pam Charbit Toledano
A&R Director, Warner Music Group
Charbit Toledano will never forget seeing David Guetta and Ryan Tedder debut “I Don’t Wanna Wait,” a track she A&R’d, at Ultra Miami 2024 before it went diamond, platinum and gold across multiple countries. She’s also eaten shawarma in the Paris catacombs with Mario and landed an Apple Music ad with DJ Khaled. She’s now working on Guetta’s upcoming music, setting up top-tier songwriting camps and helping shape Alec Benjamin’s next set while scouting talent for WMG’s roster. Charbit Toledano learned English by translating Eminem lyrics. We could use a crash course.
Andrea De Castro Ayala
CEO/founder, DCM Media
De Castro Ayala has led game-changing campaigns for clients like Young Miko, securing Rolling Stone and Vogue covers during her att. album rollout, and FloyyMenor, who became the first Chilean artist to hit 2b streams. She’s also worked with Myke Towers, Álvaro Díaz, Caleb Calloway, Sen Senra and more—all while managing Grammy-nominated producer Jeremy Ayala. Lately, she’s been focused on spearheading FloyyMenor’s debut album, YTSQS, expanding DCM Media and prepping for Fashion Week. De Castro Ayala’s a trained chef. We can barely handle making toast.
Caroline Galbreath
Director, Global Digital Accounts, Red Bull Records
Galbreath was proud to work on twice-Grammy-nominated Blxst’s debut album, with single “Rewind” f/Feid going RIAA U.S. Latin platinum. She also secured House of Protection a spot on Spotify’s 2025 Artists to Watch list. While at Ninja Tune she worked on campaigns for Thundercat, ODESZA, Hiatus Kaiyote and Bonobo. Now, she’s focused on continuing to build House of Protection’s momentum and working with rap/R&B breakout Joony, whose COLORS SHOW episode dropped on 3/17. Galbreath’s a five-star dog sitter on Rover. We can’t even keep our plants alive.
Emily Doherty
Associate Director, Artist & Industry Relations SiriusXM
Doherty has crossed paths with Paul McCartney, Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and Julie Andrews, the latter quoting “a Queen never slides” from The Princess Diaries to her in a green room. For the past six years she’s brought exclusive interviews and live sets to SiriusXM with artists like Armin van Buuren, John Summit, David Guetta, Diplo and Kaskade. She recently wrapped in-studio coverage for Miami Music Week, which featured 40+ artists, from Chris Lake to Above & Beyond. This lifelong singer once won her high school’s version of American Idol. We’re pretty pitchy.
Sarah Sigro
Director, Catalog Marketing, Warner Music Nashville
Sigro got her start as a music publicist in NYC, where she got to work with alt-J and see their rise from playing clubs to selling out Madison Square Garden. Now at Warner Music Nashville, she’s helped bring Dan + Shay’s debut album to vinyl for the first time and found fresh ways to celebrate longtime greats like Randy Travis. Up next? A special project for Kenny Chesney’s Sphere run in May. When she’s not shaping music history, she’s belting it out at karaoke or training for her next half marathon. We’re on the couch eating cold pizza.
