SALMON SWIMS TO NEW ROLE AT ATC GROUP

March 20, 2025

Veteran manager and A&R man Ric Salmon is stepping into the newly created role of chief growth officer at ATC Group.

The London-based ATC touted a 107% year-over-year revenue increase in 2024, thanks in part to its acquisitions of direct-to-fan merchandising outfit Sandbag, Raw Power Management (Bring Me the Horizon, Bullet for My Valentine) and live-music promoter Joy Entertainment.

ATC also manages such acts as PJ Harvey, the Radiohead offshoot The Smile and Nick Cave, and through its ATC Live books The Lumineers, Fontaines D.C., Amyl & the Sniffers, Big Thief and hundreds more.

Salmon has been with the company for the past decade, during which he managed such artists as Glen Hansard and Laura Marling. He previously fronted Harvest Entertainment, through which he managed Seal and Morrissey, and served in senior A&R positions at Sony Music, Ministry of Sound and Warner Music International.

Salmon is likewise the co-founder of the livestream company Driift, now part of ATC Services.

Said ATC Group CEO Adam Driscoll, “Ric’s deep understanding of the music industry and the needs of artists makes him the ideal person for this newly created role."

Added Salmon, “These are exciting times at ATC. We are building a new type of global music company, one with music management at its core, but with scope to capitalize on new technologies and market innovation, and provide a comprehensive range of services to help artists reach their creative and commercial potential."
