U.K. CHARTS: GAGA, CHAPPELL TAKE THE TOP

March 14, 2025

Lady Gaga crowns the Official U.K. Albums Chart this week with her fifth #1, MAYHEM (Interscope), while Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” (Island) holds on atop the Singles tally for a second week.

MAYHEM sold 55.6k copies in the U.K., more than 35k of which were physical versions. It knocks Sabrina Carpenter's Short n' Sweet (Island) down to #2. BLACKPINK member JENNIE’s RUBY (Oddatelier/Columbia) debuts at #3, the highest position for any of the group's solo releases.

Carpenter's 2022 album, emails i can't send, explodes 67-40 thanks to the recent kickoff of the artist's European tour.

Meanwhile, Wicked: The Soundtrack (Republic) sets a new record with its 16th week at #1 on the Official Compilations Chart, where it debuted in late November.

On Singles, "Pink Pony Club" nudges Alex Warren's "Ordinary" (Atlantic) to #2 and Gaga's "Abracadabra" to #3. Farther down, the latter's "Die With a Smile," featuring Bruno Mars, jumps 22-18 and "Garden of Eden" debuts at #23 to become Gaga's 32nd U.K. Top 40 entry.

Doechii lands at #4 with "Anxiety" (TDE/Capitol), her second U.K. Top 10 in three months.

Carpenter enjoys momentum for songs from Short n' Sweet: "Busy Woman" jumps 12-8, "Bed Chem" soars 19-13 and "Please Please Please" rises 18-14.

Elsewhere, Ravyn Lenae rockets 38-27 with "Love Me Not" (Atlantic) and JENNIE scores her fifth U.K. Top 40 single as "Like Jennie" opens at #36.
