Alex Warren's afternoon nap was not disrupted during this photo session.

Alex Warren scores his first #1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart this week with “Ordinary” (Atlantic), preventing Chappell Roan from replacing herself at the top with “The Giver” (Island), which debuts at #2 instead. On Albums, Playboi Carti earns his maiden chart-topper with MUSIC (Interscope).

“Ordinary” was the most-streamed track in the U.K. over the past seven days, with 5.6m. The American artist’s “Carry Home,” meanwhile, jumps 24-20, while “Burning Down” rises 33-28.

“The Giver” is Roan’s fourth U.K. Top 10. Last week’s #1, her enduring “Pink Pony Club,” slides to #4.

Labelmate Sabrina Carpenter’s “Busy Woman” reaches a new peak of #6, and Carti lands two new Top 10 singles: “EVIL JORDAN” at #7 and “RATHER LIE” with The Weeknd at #10. His “TOXIC” debuts at #21.

Sleep Token’s “Emergence” (RCA) is its first Singles entry, at #17. Adele’s 2007 song “Hometown Glory” (Columbia) re-enters at #31 following a TikTok trend of users posting old photos of their parents (aw).

Porcupine Tree’s Steven Wilson ties a career high as The Overview starts at #3 on Albums. Also the top seller in U.K. indie record stores, it debuts atop both the Official Record Store and Official Vinyl Albums tallies.

U.K. rock combo The Slow Readers Club debuts at #11 with Out of a Dream (The Slow Readers Club), its fifth Top 40 title.
