ADA'S VERY BIG YEAR

As 2024 comes to a close, ADA is taking a look back at its monster year, one that saw ADA artists lay claim to Spotify's Global Top 200, led by Artemas’ #1 hit, "I Like the Way You Kiss Me."

The independent-distribution and label-services arm of Warner Music Group signed artists from Grammy-nominated singer Kesha and rapper Lil Tjay to Brazilians Matuê, Eric Land and Sua Musica.

In the U.K., Sonny Fodera spent eight weeks in the Top 10 and The K’s earned the second-biggest debut album of 2024. ADA also renewed its relationship with British rapper Nemzzz.

In Europe, meanwhile, ADA reupped with Ayliva, who became Germany’s most-streamed domestic artist (behind only Taylor Swift), breaking national streaming records with "In Liebe” and "Wunder." It also struck up a partnership with the Berlin label Aemeralds.

The company landed major sync placements, including Joey Valence & Brae for Pepsi, Ciara for Uber, the late Mac Miller for Tommy Hilfiger, Artemas for Dior, Big Freedia for Walmart and Daft Punk for the DreamWorks film Dog Man. We could go on, but we need a nap after typing all that.
