DEAD & COMPANY SWING BACK TO SPHERE

Retrieve those tie-dyes from under the bed—Dead & Company are returning to Sphere for an 18-show residency next year.

The group, which played 30 shows at the Vegas venue in 2024, will begin the run 3/20 and call the groundbreaking 20,000-seater home through 5/17. It also promises updated visuals to take your long, strange trip to a whole nother level.

The shows will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Dead & Company, which features original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart flanked by guitarist John Mayer, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and bassist Oteil Burbridge. Drummer Jay Lane has filled in for an ailing Bill Kreutzmann since 2023.

The run will take place 3/20-22, 3/27-29, 4/17-19, 4/24-26, 5/9-11 and 5/15-17. Organizers insist no further shows will be added.

An artist presale for Dead & Company's 2025 Sphere residency will start on 12/10. In the meantime, HITS will likely be blaring The Dead live from San Francisco, 8/13/1975. Look it up, newbies!
