TMZ JUMPS ON THE TAYLOR-TARGET TRAIN

TMZ could hardly contain itself in its coverage of Taylor Swift’s holiday merch extravaganza in partnership with Target. “SCREW BLACK FRIDAY, IT'S GREEN FRIDAY!!! Massive Crowds Line Up To Buy All Things Taylor,” the gossip site’s headline shouts.

“They came, they bought... yep, everything they could carry—a limited-edition of the Eras book, her CD, vinyls, etc, etc.,” a nameless TMZ “journalist” enthuses in a post untouched by the site’s copy editors (we did a slight cleanup for readability).

“As for the book, it's 256 pages that includes pics that have not yet seen the light of day... it chronicles her various eras and clearly fans are eating it up. As for the music... it's all about THE TORTURED POETS DEPT: THE ANTHOLOGY... much to the chagrin of one Joe Alwyn. And, there's a bonus—a 12X12 poster of Swift.”

After dropping in the random reference to one of Swift’s exes, the reporter shifts to bold italics for the next paragraph: “The line outside the Target in Queens was insane in the wee hours of Friday... especially considering the frigid temps.

“The cash Taylor rakes in is a bonus... her tour along [sic] grossed north of $1 billion.”

Take a look at the post in its unfettered state here.
