The New York Jets and Giants may be floundering, but fans at MetLife Stadium will have a lot to celebrate next summer when Zach Bryan (WME) headlines three sold-out nights at the East Rutherford, New Jersey, venue on 7/18-20.
Kings of Leon and as-yet-unannounced acts will provide support at the AEG Presents-promoted dates.
Bryan is winding down his hugely successful Quittin' Time Tour, which will wrap 12/18-19 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
He's also confirmed to co-headline AEG/Goldenvoice's Stagecoach in Indio, California, on 4/24 and BST Hyde Park in London 6/28-29.
Is it too soon to daydream about a guest appearance by Garden State favorite son Bruce Springsteen, who has performed with Bryan on prior occasions? The Boss will have wrapped his European tour with the E Street Band a few weeks earlier, so start chanting "Rosalita" three times fast.
Meanwhile, reports that AEG touring honcho Rich Schaefer will be spinning 1977-era Grateful Dead bootlegs in the MetLife parking lot remain unconfirmed at press time.
