SONGWRITERS HALL REVEALS 2025 NOMINEES

The Songwriters Hall of Fame has announced the nominees for its Class of 2025, a list that spans six decades of writing talent.

This year’s field includes 13 non-performing songwriters and teams and 13 performing songwriters and groups. The potential inductees are:

Several of the nominees, including Clinton, the Doobies and Winwood, were previously nominated.

A potential candidate qualifies for induction 20 years after their first significant commercial release.

The SHOF inducted 10 non-performers and 12 performing songwriters at its 2024 ceremony in June.

Those with ballots in hand will have until midnight ET on 12/22 to vote for up to three nominees in each of the Non-Performing and Performing categories.
