LATIN GRAMMY WEEK TAKES OVER MIAMI
During Latin Grammy Week, Miami Dade County officials declared 11/12 Warner Music Latina Day in recognition of the label's ongoing commitment to Miami's music, arts and education communities. Accepting the official proclamation, Warner Music Latin America President Alejandro Duque said, “Miami has become the heart of Latin rhythm and a gateway for our artists to reach audiences worldwide. This day is a tribute not only to the influence of Latin music on global culture but to the dedication of the entire Warner Music Latina team, whose passion and vision have driven our success." UMG rang in Latin Grammy week with "La Música es Universal: Miami Edition," a Monday night (11/11) soirée at LIV at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The event celebrated UMG's Latina powerhouses, among them Best New Artist nominee Ela Taubert and reigning BNA Joaquina, as well as the 25th anniversary of the Latin Grammys. Latin Recording Academy CEO Manuel Abud kicks off Latin Grammy week with 2024's Leading Ladies of Entertainment honorees.
