MYKE'S GLOBAL HOT STREAK CONTINUES

One World/Warner Latina’s Myke Towers continues to elevate his standing as a global hitmaker.

“DEGENERE,” the Puerto Rican MC’s latest single and first collaboration with pop maestro benny blanco, is hitting new peaks daily on Spotify’s worldwide chart, approaching the Top 40, having held #1 in Spain for the last two weeks. Towers also connected with Argentine rapper Duki, on fast-breaking cut “Nueva Era,” #86 worldwide on Spotify.

Towers’ run of global hits puts him in rare air alongside Bad Bunny, KAROL G and Feid as one of the few current reggaeton acts capable of landing multiple smashes. S10 boss and Towers manager Brandon Silverstein tells HITS, “I’m incredibly excited about Myke’s rise as a global superstar and the journey ahead with the One World and Warner Latina family.”

“DEGENERE” comes from Towers’ La Pantera Negra Deluxe (10/17), an enhanced version of La Pantera Negra featuring 10 new songs. La Pantera Negra was the highly anticipated follow-up to Myke’s LA VIDA ES UNA campaign, which, over the course of two albums, spawned global hits in “La Falda” and #1 “LALA.” The former is nominated for the Latin Grammy for Best Urban Song; the latter recently entered Spotify’s Billions Club. Towers is also set to perform 11/14 on the Latin Grammys telecast—he’s nominated twice in the Urban Song category, for "El Cielo" with Sky Rompiendo and Feid as well as "La Falda."

What’s next for Towers on this current hot streak? We’re betting on more trophies. Stay tuned.
