Def Jam’s Big Sean hit the Amazon Music Live stage on 10/24 for the season’s second episode.
The seven-time BET Award-winning and Grammy-nominated hip-hop heavyweight performed tracks from his latest album Better Me Than You, along with fan favorites like “Mercy,” “All Me” and “Blessings.”
In celebration of Homecoming at HBCUs, the S10-repped rapper shared the spotlight with The Blue and Gold Marching Machine and The Fellowship Gospel Choir from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Fans enjoyed Amazon Music Yard Fest, a Homecoming-themed event, as part of the AML taping.
The performance also featured surprise guests, including YG for “Big Bank,” and E-40, who joined for renditions of “IDFWU” and “Tell Me When to Go,” backed by the band and choir. Additionally, Jhené Aiko made a special appearance, joining for “Beware.”
Amazon Music Live can be seen at 9pm PT after Thursday Night Football on Prime Video and Amazon Music's Twitch channel. Season 3 kicked off with Jelly Roll last week and will feature Hasley on 10/31, J Balvin on 11/7, plus more to be announced.
