A PREVIEW OF RADIO CHART PREVIEWS

At Top 40, the chart is buzzing with anticipation as Sabrina Carpenter's “Espresso” (Island/Republic) could return to the top spot, 14 weeks after its initial #1 reign—an unprecedented feat. Will Republic CorpsSpangler and Lucas be celebrating, or will ICLG’s Marella crew maintain their grip on the top spot with Billie Eilish's “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” (Darkroom/Interscope) for a sixth consecutive week? We’ll be watching. Meanwhile, Carpenter’s "Taste" (Island/Republic) joins the Top 10 this week and Charli xcx's "Apple" (Atlantic) enters the Top 20. ICLG's Katy Perrymoves Top 30 this week with "I'm His, He's Mine" f/Doechii (Capitol). And debuting on the chart will be Lady Gaga's "Disease" (Interscope/ICLG) and ROSÉ & Bruno Mars' "APT." (Atlantic).

At Rhythm, meanwhile, there are seven new stations officially joining the panel this week and the chart numbers look stronger. Epic’s Sack and Dontay put 21 Savage x Summer Walker’s "prove it" at #1. RCA’s Lori G continues to drive Chris Brown’s "Residuals" in the Top 10, as does Republic’s Davey Dee with The Weeknd’s "Dancing in the Flames" (XO) and ICLG’s Dixie with Moneybagg Yo’s "WHISKEY WHISKEY" f/Morgan Wallen. Warner’s B Dot Scales has Saweetie’s "Is It the Way" at #17. ICLG also welcomes Toosii’s "I Do" f/Muni Long in the Top 25, and debut GloRilla’s "WHATCHU KNOW ABOUT ME” f/Sexyy Red. Epic just misses a chart debut with Tyla’s "PUSH 2 START,” which impacts it this week.

And at Modern Rock, Warner’s Rob Goldklang gets a sixth week at #1 with Linkin Park’s “The Emptiness Machine.” Rob and Crush’s Garrett Capone enter the Top 10 with Green Day’s “Bobby Sox.” Next up to the Top 10 will be Ourness/In2une’s Royel Otis with “Sofa King.” Led by Dave Lombardi, the track is now at #11. Dirty Hit’s beabadoobee hits the Top 20 with “Beaches,” while Concord’s Angelo Scrobe gets a strong debut at #29 with Offspring’s “Ok, But This Is the Last Time.” Also scoring a nice chart debut is Sumerian’s Mike Jakubow with Weathers’ “Wasn’t Going to Go Out.”
