VIVES, FONSI, BISBAL TO PERFORM ON LATIN GRAMMYS

The 25th anniversary Latin Grammy Awards, 11/14, will heat up the airwaves with a slew of performances by nominees, including David Bisbal, Alejandro Fernández, Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, Carín León, Elena Rose and Ela Taubert.

Carlos Vives (pictured), 2024's Person of the Year, will likewise take the stage. Being celebrated for his three decades in the Latin music spotlight, he will also be honored at a star-studded gala on 11/13.

Edgar Barrera once again leads the nominees, with nine nods, including for Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year. He’s also staked out a prime position in the Song of the Year category, with nominations as co-writer of KAROL G’s “Mi Ex Tenía Razón,” Shakira and Grupo Frontera’s “(Entre Paréntesis)” and Maluma and Carín León’s “Según Quién.”

KAROL G and Bad Bunny follow close behind Barrera, with eight nominations each. Benito competes for Record of the Year with “Monaco,” while KAROL is up for Album of the Year for MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO (Bichota Season).

The ceremony will be broadcast live from the Kaseya Center in Miami courtesy of Univision, UniMás, Galavision and ViX beginning at 8pm ET, preceded by a one-hour pre-show. This year marks a homecoming of sorts for the Latin Grammys, which hasn’t staged a full show in Miami since 2003; the 2020 edition was closed to the public due to the pandemic. The Latin Recording Academy was founded and remains headquartered in Miami.

In a first this year, fans will be able to access artist news, behind-the-scenes coverage and special reveals on a dedicated WhatsApp channel.
