WALLEN TEASES NEXT PHASE WITH "LOVE SOMEBODY"

Despite attaining 7x platinum status with his Big Loud/Mercury/Republic album One Thing at a Time, Morgan Wallen isn’t resting on his laurels—he’s back with a new single, “Love Somebody,” which dropped on 10/18 and immediately vaulted into the iTunes Top 3.

Wallen, whose songwriting team on this one spanned John Byron, Ashley Gorley, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Elof Loelv and Ryan Vojtesak, said, "'Love Somebody' is a little bit of a new approach lyrically and sonically. I wanted to try something different with what I wanted to talk about and how I wanted it to sound, and we were inspired by Latin-leaning influences. I’m really excited about this song and pumped that it's out.”

The Tennessee titan, who’s nominated for seven CMA Awards, first announced plans for the heartbreak hit-in-the-making at his hometown shows at the University of Tennessee's Neyland Stadium, where he notched the Knoxville venue's largest weekend ever, drawing 156,161 fans for the two shows.

Wallen’s One Night at a Time Tour, which ran for two years, encompassing 87 shows, including 51 stadium plays, wraps tomorrow (10/19) at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. And he’s already started filling out his 2025 calendar with the launch of his Sand in My Boots festival, which AEG/Goldenvoice will bring to Gulf Shores, Alabama, 5/16-18.

HITS, meanwhile, is still shaking the sand out of the trunks we wore to the beach on Labor Day.
