FUGA ADDS UNIFIED MUSIC GROUP TO ROSTER

Downtown-owned B2B distributor FUGA has solidified its ANZ foothold by signing a deal with multi-service company UNIFIED Music Group, which operates across Melbourne, Sydney, Los Angeles, New York, Nashville and Toronto.

UNIFIED, already a client of Downtown’s royalty accounting platform Curve, will be using FUGA for strategic marketing, digital and physical distribution, social video management and neighboring rights for UNIFIED Recorded Music labels including UNFD, Domestic La La and Community Music.

Francesca Caldara, VP, recorded music, UNIFIED Music Group (pictured) said, “This collaboration opens new opportunities for our roster, enabling our artists and partners to reach even larger audiences and continue pushing the boundaries of what independent music can achieve.”

Henry Compton, FUGA’s representative in the region, added, "It’s always a privilege to collaborate with a company like UNIFIED Music Group, a true Australian leader in the global music scene. Their commitment to supporting artists and pushing boundaries aligns perfectly with our vision at FUGA, and we couldn’t be more excited to join forces.”

Alongside this deal, FUGA has also partnered with Queensland-based Commonfolk Records, home to Ziggy Alberts, who won Most Performed Blues & Roots Work at this year’s APRA Awards for “Dancing in the Dark.”
