BMG TABS MCALLISTER AS GLOBAL HR CHIEF

BMG has tabbed industry veteran Melanie McAllister as its new global chief human resources officer, a position she’ll assume as of 11/1.

This will be McAllister’s second stint at Bertelsmann. Prior to her most recent role as chief people officer at EasyPark Group and Megaport, she spent nearly a decade as chief HR officer at BMG’s sister company, Arvato.

McAllister, who will join BMG’s executive board, reporting directly to CEO Thomas Coesfeld, said, “I am truly delighted to join BMG during this exciting phase of the company’s development and to be welcomed back to the Bertelsmann family.”

Coesfeld added, “As we continue to implement our BMG Next strategy, we are proud to welcome Melanie to lead our HR team and to spearhead our culture initiatives, which are critical to our future success.”
