More than 2,000 Recording Academy members gathered Tuesday (10/1) for the 10th annual Music Advocacy Day, which connects Academy members with their congressional representatives to address issues affecting the music industry.
Participants included 2024 Advocacy Day artist ambassador Mark Ronson, The War & Treaty's Michael Trotter Jr. and singer Maggie Rose, who met with the offices of Reps. Daniel Goldman, D-N.Y., and Mark Green, R-Tenn. Topics included the NO FAKES Act, Fans First Act, American Music Tourism Act, HITS Act and American Music Fairness Act.
