Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet will return to #1 Friday, marking the Island album’s sixth week atop the chart. Lady Gaga’s conceptual, jazz-leaning Harlequin (Interscope), a companion to The Joker, will be the top new entry.
Ahead of the 10/4 film, in which Gaga stars as Harley Quinn, Harlequin is on track for a Top 20 debut. Physical copies are available exclusively from Gaga’s website this week; the wider physical release will occur on 10/11. A Kimmel appearance tonight (10/1) may lift the set above its projected 26k.
Could Harlequin reach the Top 10? Check back on Friday for our final HITS Top 50 projections.
Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ve got to work on our grins.
