UMG SPINS OFF GTS, REBOLLO TO HEAD STAND-ALONE

Universal Music Group has spun off its Latin agency, Global Talent Services, as a stand-alone company, with Narcís Rebollo as CEO and president.

The restructuring gives Rebollo oversight of GTS’s global operations, including management, booking, promotion and brand partnerships. The new entity will operate in eight countries, among them the U.S., Spain and Portugal. The Madrid-based Rebollo will report to Jesús López, chairman/CEO of Universal Music Latin America & Iberian Peninsula.

Since 2015, Rebollo, a native of Barcelona, has been president, Universal Music Iberian Peninsula, where he was responsible for recorded music and GTS' operations in Spain and Portugal. Prior to that, he served as managing director of independent EDM label Max Music and co-founded Vale Music, where his title was VP.
