Veteran exec Corey Sheridan has been named global head of Commerce and Revenue for ADA.
The L.A.-based Sheridan, who most recently served as the first head of Music Operations for TikTok, will report to ADA President Cat Kreidich.
In his three-and-a-half-year TikTok tenure, Sheridan was pivotal to the creation of the TikTok Charts feature and also secured partnerships with streaming platforms Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music to power TikTok's Add to Music App feature.
Stepping into the new role, he said, “I'm grateful to Cat for entrusting me with this vital responsibility and am excited to have the opportunity to unlock even more value for the artists and labels we super-serve."
Kreidich added, “I’ve had the privilege of knowing Corey for years, and he’s always stood out as a visionary leader with an ability to anticipate industry shifts and trends. His leadership will be instrumental to driving commercial success and generating new revenue opportunities for our partners.”
