FAT BEATS CELEBRATES ITS DIRTY 30

Fat Beats is more than a hip-hop label—it's an institution. Founded in New York City circa 1994, the company operates as a music wholesaler specializing in vinyl distribution with stores in both Los Angeles and NYC.

On 9/22, several execs from Fat Beats and Rostrum Records, artists and fans got together at the NYC location in honor of company's 30th anniversary. Performances included Gang Starr legend DJ Premier, the Juice Crew's Masta Ace, J-Live, DJ A-Trak and more.

Pictured laughing at our obvious lack of rhythm are (l-r) Fat Beats A&R Jerry Beltran, Fat Beats Founder Joe Abajian, Rostrum COO Jonathan Partch, Fat Beats Head of Marketing Rob Caiaffa, Rostrum CEO Benjy Grinberg, Rostrum CFO Scott Margolin, Fat Beats Label Manager Alex Weigenfeld and Fat Beats President Chris Atlas.
