THE WEEKND NOTCHES 18 SPOTIFY BILLION-STREAMERS

The Weeknd just added to his stack of billions by becoming the first artist to notch more than 1b Spotify streams of 18 different songs.

Repped by SALXCO's Wassim "Sal" Slaiby, the artist previously known as Abel Tesfaye became the first to reach 100m monthly listeners on the streaming giant, in February 2023. He relinquished the throne to Billie Eilish last month, but he’s once again the reigning king of Spotify, with 106m monthlies.

Judging by past performance, it won’t be long before the XO/Republic superstar adds a 19th notch to his belt; “Dancing in the Flames” dropped on 9/13. It's the first single from his highly anticipated album Hurry Up Tomorrow, for which there's no release date just yet.

For the moment, these are The Weeknd's 18 Spotify billion-streamers:

"Blinding Lights"
"Starboy"
"The Hills"
"Die for You"
"Save Your Tears"
"Call Out My Name"
"I Feel It Coming"
"Can’t Feel My Face"
"Earned It"
"Save Your Tears" (remix)
"Creepin’"
"Stargirl Interlude"
"Reminder"
"I Was Never There"
