MEGAN & KENDRICK LEAD BET HIP HOP AWARD NOMS

The BET Hip Hop Awards are heading to Sin City for the first time. The annual ceremony will tape in Las Vegas on 10/8 and air 10/15 on BET at 8pm ET/5pm PT. The venue is expected to be announced next week.

Hosted by Fat Joe, who's returning for a third consecutive year, 2024's iteration finds Megan Thee Stallion and Kendrick Lamar leading the nominations. MTS is up for 12, including Lyricist of the Year and Hip Hop Album of the Year (Megan), while Kendrick is looking at 11 in categories like Best Hip Hop Video ("Not Like Us") and Best Live Performer.

Other notable nominations include those for 21 Savage and 41, who snagged four nods each, and A$AP Rocky, Common & Pete Rock and Sexyy Red, who landed three. A full list of the nominees can be found here.
