The indefatigable Mötley Crüe is going back to its Aqua Net-encrusted Sunset Strip roots with three club shows next month in support of its Big Machine debut, the three-song Cancelled EP.
Tommy Lee and company will invade the Troubadour on 10/7, the Roxy on 10/9 and Whisky a Go Go on 10/11. Tickets will be sold only at the respective box offices beginning 9/14, with a limit of two per customer.
Cancelled arrives 10/4 and includes the title cut, the rock radio hit "Dogs of War" and a new cover of the Beastie Boys' "Fight for Your Right."
Meanwhile, the Crüe will host a pop-up merchandise store from 10/6-12 at Rainbow Bar and Grill. Just don't drop any of your purchases on the venue's floor, because they might become permanently stuck to it.
The events are all a part of a new philanthropic endeavor, the Mötley Crüe Giveback Initiative, which is raising funds through auctions of club show tickets and stage-played instruments. The band's goal is to generate $250k for Covenant House, a non-profit supporting young people experiencing homelessness. Click here for all the details.
