BLACKPINK'S JENNIE TO COLUMBIA

BLACKPINK star Jennie is taking her talents to Columbia Records, and she’s also bringing along her ODDATELIER entertainment company as part of the partnership.

The multi-hyphenate will christen the deal with a single to be released in October, although this won’t be Jennie’s first rodeo outside the BLACKPINK stable.

She previously notched 1b Spotify streams last year by hooking up with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on “One of the Girls" from the soundtrack to HBO's The Idol, in which she also co-starred.

Jennie, whose surname is Kim, was born in Korea but moved to Auckland when she was 10. She’s been part of BLACKPINK since the group’s 2016 formation, and, with “One of the Girls,” became the first Korean female solo artist to receive an RIAA platinum song certification.
