ASHE PLANTS WILLSON AT STEM

Singer-songwriter Ashe has partnered with Stem to release her third album, Willson.

Marking Ashe's first independent release, the album arrives after a nearly two-year hiatus and a move to Nashville for Ashe, who stepped away from music in 2023 to focus on her mental health.

"I'm using all the tools that I put in my toolbox while I was gone. I still have to really pull those out every day. Every time I post a photo of myself or anything, I have to remember who I am," reads a quote from the artist.

Featuring four previously released singles, including “Running Out of Time,” the 12-track project, we're told, embodies themes of self-discovery, resilience and the journey of returning to one's true self after a period of loss and introspection. We're not really good with themes, though in our case failure, embarrassment, drowsiness and flatulence seem to recur.
