NVISION LATINO FILM & MUSIC FEST REVEALS LINEUP

NTERTAIN'S NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival has revealed the lineup for its 10th annual celebration. Full-length feature films, shorts, panels and live-music performances will take place at the Palm Springs Art Museum 10/10-10/12.

Fifty-nine percent of the films being screened are directed by women, and the program reflects multiple submissions by LGBTQA+ filmmakers, as well as numerous works representing the Afro-Latinx, Indigenous and disability communities.

The festival's lineup includes four feature-length films and 35 short films, with titles submitted from the U.S., Argentina, Mexico, Canada, Spain, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia and Costa Rica.

"Each film in our selection is a testament to the creativity, resilience, and diverse perspectives of Latino artists from around the world. This year’s lineup showcases bold stories that challenge, inspire and celebrate the richness of our culture," said Lex Borrero, co-founder and CEO of NTERTAIN.

Screening highlights include Felipe Vargas' Hive, starring Marvel actress Xochitl Gomez; Esta Ambición Desmedida, a documentary on Latin Grammy-winning Spanish artist C. Tangana; and the California premiere of Ponyboi, a groundbreaking film written by River Gallo and directed by Esteban Arango.

Panel discussions taking place each day will feature leading voices in the industry, including those of multi-Latin Grammy nominee and actress Leslie Grace, actor and artist Anthony Ramos, Cinema Giants founder and CEO Jessy Terrero, TV/film-music executive Areli Quirarte and other leading experts.
