The T.J. Martell Foundation will honor Big Loud CEO Seth England with a Lifetime Music Industry Award 9/17 at its 49th annual New York awards gala.
Big Loud artists Morgan Wallen, HARDY and ERNEST will take the stage to fête England with a writer’s-round performance at the gala, which will be held at Cipriani 42nd Street.
England’s stand at Big Loud, which began with an internship, has seen him rise to the rank of CEO and partner. He’s also been instrumental to guiding Big Loud Publishing—90 #1s and counting—and Big Loud Management, launched in 2011.
The Illinois native was chosen for this year’s Lifetime Music Industry Award for both his impact on the music industry and his unwavering support for the T.J. Martell Foundation’s mission to cure cancer.
Def Jam CCO/EVP Archie Davis, who received the Rising Music Superstar Award at last year’s gala, will this year announce an initiative aimed at raising awareness of early screening and testing.
"We are proud to shine a spotlight on Seth’s dedicated efforts towards our cancer research as well as his pioneering work in the music world and look forward to celebrating him and his achievements with an exhilarating night of music," said REPUBLIC Corps. EVP/Business & Legal Affairs and Business Development Steve Gawley, who is also chairman-elect of the T.J. Martell Foundation board of trustees.
