Downtown Music Publishing has a global agreement in place with Double P, home to the label and publishing company co-founded by George Prajin and Peso Pluma.
DMP will provide administration and sync placement for Double P Records’ current and future releases, including administration for Peso Pluma’s own publishing interests, among them his latest double album, ÉXODO.
The deal also encompasses Pluma's previous album, GÉNESIS, which broke streaming records and earlier this year earned the artist his first Grammy, for Best Música Mexicana Album.
Launched in 2023 in collaboration with Prajin Parlay, Inc., Double P is home to some of música Mexicana’s hottest songwriters; Peso Pluma, Jasiel Nuñez, Estevan Plazola and Jesús Roberto Laija García (Tito Double P) all write under the aegis of Prajin Music Publishing.
“We are looking forward to joining forces with Downtown and continuing to grow our partnership,” said Prajin. “I am confident that together, we are going to do great things.”
