Grammy-winning producer RedOne and his 2101 Records have inked a distribution deal with gamma. subsidiary Vydia.
Vydia will support the label’s roster of new talent and manage the rights for and distribution of RedOne's back catalog, which includes Real Madrid's popular anthem "¡Hala Madrid!... y nada más."
The song recently saw a 1,100% increase in streams following the club’s 15th UEFA Champions League victory earlier this summer and signing of high-profile forward Kylian Mbappé.
RedOne has also produced hits for, among others, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga and One Direction. He's currently focused on 2101's latest signee, singer-songwriter Carol Doche. Her debut single, “Montego" f/Wiz Khalifa, will arrive on 7/19 through Vydia, marking the first release under the new partnership. The song is available for pre-save here.
“We're excited to support the legacy of RedOne and the expansion of 2101 Records through the distribution of new and existing talent," Vydia Senior Label & Artist Relations Manager Tony Girakhoo said. "RedOne has had a profound impact on the industry as a whole and we are honored to be part of his next endeavor.”
