As Sabrina Carpenter's remarkable ascent continues, fans are queuing up in astronomical numbers for presale tix to her upcoming concerts. The Island (CAA) star, who's now riding the momentum of two giant singles and will drop a new album, Short n' Sweet, on 8/23, begins her very hot, AEG-promoted tour on 9/23 in Columbus, Ohio. Demand has been so intense that her team has added two shows at L.A.'s Kia Forum and one at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. The general on-sale begins Friday (6/28). She also just secured a headline spot on the Outside Lands fest on 8/10 after Tyler, The Creator bowed out.
Carpenter's team, including CAA agents Mario Tirado and Marlene Tsuchii and manager Janelle Lopez Genzink (whose Volara Management is part of Red Light) should be acknowledged for shepherding such rapid growth in terms of venues and positioning. Of course, the artist's support spot on Taylor Swift's gigantic Eras Tour didn't hurt.
Stay tuned for updates, and make that "Espresso" a double; it's been a hectic morning.
