ENCORE'S DEI V TAKES FLIGHT

Puerto Rican breakout Dei V is proving he's got next in the urbano world with his latest album, Quién Es Dei V?. Signed to Under Water in partnership with Joie Manda's Encore Recordings, Dei V's Quién Es topped Apple Music's Latin albums chart last week, simultaneously landing on Spotify's Top 10 U.S. album debuts.

In its second week, Quién Es is holding firm in the Top 3 at Apple Music, hanging with albums from heavyweights Peso Pluma and Bad Bunny.

Dei V has already amassed nearly 800m streams across his catalog, collaborating with some of the most prominent names in Latin music including KAROL G, Myke Towers and Anuel AA. Hot global newcomers Cris Mj, Ryan Castro and YOVNGCHIMI are featured on Quién Es, as well as fellow Puerto Rican all-stars Towers, Lunay and Bryant Myers.

Songs from Quién Es are still dominating Apple's San Juan chart, where Dei V holds #1, #2 and #5. He also had seven tracks in Spain's Top 50 on Spotify as of 6/20.

To celebrate the launch of Quién Es, Spotify, Under Water Music and Encore hosted basketball-themed pop-up in Puerto Rico, with a performance from Dei V. Fortunately for all the ballers in attendance, Manda stayed off the court because only packed Timberlands.
