BLACK MUSIC MONTH: A TALE OF THREE CITIES

The National Museum of African American Music in Nashville has honored us with this handsome display of prior Black Music Month issues, which is accompanied by an explanatory note with a bit of backstory (quite distinct from this backstory) explaining that we're based in Hollywood (close enough).

All of which serves as preamble to this reminder that our 2024 BMM special, which should land on your desks and doorsteps with a resounding thump any day now, turns its focus to the city of Atlanta. And whatever city, town or hamlet you occupy, we urge you to curl up with a slice of peach pie and enjoy.
