STEM EXTENDS BRANCH TO JAMES BLAKE'S CMYK

The newly independent James Blake is making noise with his latest single, "Thrown Around," his first on his own CMYK label. The imprint is distributed by Stem, with Good Boy and Stellar Trigger on indify offering funding and marketing support.

“We are incredibly proud to support an artist as influential as James Blake on his new journey as an independent artist," said indify CEO/Co-Founder Shay Garg. "We know this is only the beginning as he is leading the way for many artists and to them we say, 'You are not alone.'"

Blake spent the past decade releasing his music through Polydor in his native U.K. and Republic in North America. He also recently teamed with the artist-focused streaming service VAULT to issue previously unheard tunes directly to fans.
