BILLIE RETURNS TO SOUNDCLOUD ROOTS

Billie Eilish and SoundCloud have teamed up to celebrate the release of her third album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT (Darkroom/Interscope), with the platform's inaugural takeover. The global superstar often credits SoundCloud with helping launch her career, which got its start in 2015 with her first upload.

As part of the initiative, SoundCloud users will get access to the album in its entirety, and SoundCloud will honor select Eilish fans by including them on a Billie x SoundCloud landing page, generating images they can share on their socials.

"Being able to celebrate Billie and recognize the SoundCloud superfans who've been here since day one feels like a full-circle moment,” said SoundCloud CEO Eliah Seton. "From 2015, when she first leaned into SoundCloud to share her music and connect with fans, to today's release of HIT ME HARD AND SOFT for those same fans and more, this is what it's all about—giving artists unparalleled access to connect through music."
