Lainey Wilson’s fifth album, Whirlwind, will arrive globally 8/23 via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville.
The LP, produced by Jay Joyce, follows Wilson’s breakthrough 2022 album, Bell Bottom Country.
“I am so excited to finally announce Whirlwind,” reads Wilson’s quote accompanying the announcement. “This album has been a long time coming, and I can’t wait for the world to have this body of work in their hands soon. This new chapter of music is the most cathartic and personal piece of art I’ve ever made. I hope this record brings some peace to your whirlwind and wraps its arms around you like it did for me.”
Wilson’s Wild Horses fan club members have exclusive access to preorder a limited-edition, signed black-and-white Whirlwind vinyl LP from Wilson’s merch store, shop.laineywilson.com.
