LIL DURK RELAUNCHES OTF WITH AWAL
Lil Durk has joined forces with AWAL to relaunch his OTF label venture. The first single under the new partnership will drop on Friday.
Lil Durk has partnered with AWAL to relaunch his label venture, OTF (Only the Family).
With the Chicago rapper acting as CEO of the label, the OTF team is rounded out by COO Cedrick “SB” Earsery, who will work alongside AWAL CEO Lonny Olinick, President Pete Giberga, SVP/Head of Urban Music Norva Denton and the AWAL A&R and marketing teams to foster and build the company's burgeoning roster.
To commemorate the occasion, the first single under the new partnership, “GTA” by DJ Bandz, featuring Rob 49, Skilla Baby and Fivio Foreign, will be released on Friday (5/11).
OTF was founded in 2012 by Lil Durk (real name: Durk Banks), the late Dontay “Dthang” Banks, Earsery and Uchenna “Chino” Agina following the success of Lil Durk’s breakout single, “Dis Aint What You Want.” The label also supported the career of the late King Von, among others. In 2020, Lil Durk and OTF established the Neighborhood Heroes Foundation to effect change in underprivileged neighborhoods.

We see some copies of HITS lying on the table—we expect they’ll be rolled up and used as fly swatters any minute now...
