Def Jam has inked singer Skylar Simone and is rolling out her single “Shiver” and its accompanying video. Produced by D’Mile, who co-wrote and co-produced the majority of Silk Sonic’s album and has crafted cuts for H.E.R. and Victoria Monet, the R&B track highlights Simone's considerable vocal prowess.
The 22-year-old daughter of NFL running back Aaron Stecker, Simone grew up in multiple cities, beginning her career singing the national anthem at stadiums across the country. She and her family eventually settled in L.A. to support her career.
"Shiver" will be found on Simone's forthcoming EP. Check it out below.
