KENDRICK'S DRAKE DISS "EUPHORIA" HITS NEW HIGH

Kendrick Lamar released "euphoria" (pgLang/Interscope), a furious diss track aimed at Drake, on Tuesday (4/30). The song is a response to Drake's "Push Ups (Drop & Give Me 50)" and "Taylor Made Freestyle," both of which arrived earlier this month.

As of Thursday (5/2), the track is #1 at Spotify U.S. and #2 global as well as #1 on both Apple Music's Top 100: USA and overall singles charts, surpassing Tommy Richman's "Million Dollar Baby."

K. Dot made his feelings about the OVO Sound boss crystal-clear with such lines as "It's always been about love and hate, now let me say I'm the biggest hater/ I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk, I hate the way that you dress/ I hate the way that you sneak diss, if I catch flight, it's gon' be direct."

The track, Lamar's first major release since Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, arrived amid the growing discourse among the "big three"—J. Cole, Lamar and Drake—that was ignited following the release of Future & Metro Boomin's chart-topping hit, "Like That" f/Lamar. As part of his verse, Lamar throws barbs at Cole and Drake, which has evidently sparked one of the biggest rap beefs in recent memory.

Considering the YouTube audio amassed more than 5.5m views in less than eight hours, we're thinkin' it's gonna leave a mark. Listen to the six-minute lashing below.
