SPRING BREAKOUTS: THESE HEATERS ARE STILL HOT

While Taylor Swift largely dominates the charts at the moment, don't let the positioning fool you. Tracks by Hozier, Artemas, Sabrina Carpenter, Future & Metro, Benson Boone, Sexyy Red and Chappell Roan are still on fire.

Hozier earned his first U.S. #1 with "Too Sweet" (Columbia), and the scorching-hot single continues to rack up major streams. It was the most-streamed song in the U.S. last week with 33m. The rock cut, from a singer-songwriter who first broke in the middle of the last decade, is making its way back into the Top 5 of Spotify global.

10K Projects newcomer Artemas continues to take TikTok and Spotify by storm. "i like the way you kiss me" earned its biggest day yet on Spotify on 4/23, racking up 9.8m daily streams. Trailing only Swift's new "Fortnight" f/Post Malone, which posted 13m streams yesterday, could Artemas return to #1 globally, where it held court for 12 consecutive days before TTPD dropped? The track has racked up 265m streams on Spotify in just over a month.

Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso" (Island) is exploding on socials and DSPs, generating nearly 20m streams in the U.S. as the top debut last week. "Espresso" also had its biggest streaming day yet on Spotify on 4/24 with 8.6m streams. The infectious pop tune has inspired Tate McRae, Katy Perry and Anitta, among others, to use clips of the track in their own content. Carpenter's buzzy Coachella sets have everyone on notice as fans and the biz closely watch the former Disney star's elevation. Make no mistake—this is Sabrina's game-changing smash.

Posting the biggest song debut of the year before Tay dropped, Future & Metro's "Like That" f/Kendrick Lamar is still booming. "Like That" and Hozier's "Too Sweet" were the only tracks to post 30m+ streams in the U.S. last week.

Benson Boone's "Beautiful Things" (Night Street/Warner) returned to the Spot's global Top 10 on 4/24. This monster is still generating 6m+ streams a day. It remains Spotify's most-streamed song released in 2024, with 605m+.

Open Shift/gamma. breakthrough Sexyy Red has another Apple Music-approved hit with "Get It Sexyy." It's currently #25, with Swift occupying 20 spots on the U.S. chart.

Like her Coachella-rocking labelmate Carpenter, Amusement/Island's Chappell Roan has landed the one-two punch of heating up with a new cut, then nailing her set in the desert. Roan's "Good Luck, Babe!" also hit a streaming peak on Spotify, posting 3m+ for the first time on 4/23.
