Yeat and Drake collaborator BNYX has signed with Lyfestyle Corporation/Field Trip/Capitol. The producer, songwriter and artist will have the support of Yeat's Lyfestyle Corporation across all music and marketing.
BNYX will work with the team that guided Yeat's breakout since he partnered with Zack Bia's Field Trip in 2021.
A Philadelphia native, BNYX has been on a hot streak as a producer since first collaborating with Yeat in 2022. BNYX produced multiple cuts on Yeat's EP Lyfë and went on to helm nearly half of the 22 tracks on Yeat's third LP, AftërLyfe. Subsequently, BNYX entered Drake's orbit, co-producing hits "Search & Rescue" and "IDGAF" f/Yeat. BNYX would land multiple placements on Drake's For All the Dogs and executive produced the 6-God's It’s All A Blur Tour, working on sound design and recreating tour versions of the records.
BNYX will perform live for the first time at Jack Harlow's Gazebo Festival in May, as he launches his career as a solo artist. A forthcoming album and debut single are in the works.
“As a producer BNYX has had a profound impact on both music and culture, said Capitol Chairman & CEO Tom March. “We’re thrilled to partner with he, his manager Ness, the brilliant Zack Bia and Field Trip Recordings on the launch of BNYX️’s solo career. It’s a privilege to enter this new era together continuing our longtime relationship with Zack and the Field Trip team.”
Rumors that March will add an umlaut to his last name couldn't be confirmed at press time.
